A Romantic Treetop Paradise

Trogon House & Forest Spa B&B offers exquisite luxury, suspended in the treetops of a private forest reserve that stretches untamed along the Tsitsikamma mountains and beyond.

Trogon House lies in untouched indigenous forest - neighbouring Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the Elephant Sanctuary on the most scenic and unspoiled stretch of the Garden Route, 15 minutes from Plettenburg Bay.

Elevated in the tree tops and using only natural materials, this unique B&B embraces the forest with glass walls and sky-lit roofs, creating a true “nature forest" experience. It offers four deluxe thatch and glass secluded double rooms and a master forest suite linked by elevated walkways and bridges. Each room is uniquely positioned in the forest to ensure privacy and tastefully decorated to indulge your senses.

The wooden walkways take one to the forest boma where spit roasts, “potjie pots” (stews), and “braai’s (BBQ’s) will be served by prior arrangement - under the cool of the trees on a hot summers day and gently lit by the moon, stars and fire light at night. Absorb the scent of the forest, observe the dance of the fireflies, the serenity of being one with nature and enjoy the company of like-minded people.

The Forest Spa set in a secluded thatch structure can, by prior arrangement be used for your exclusive use. This facility has a lovely stone fire place, a glass steam room, candle lit Jacuzzi, a “Champagne” (MCC) and snack platter menu with a professional therapist offering manicures, pedicures, massage treatments piped with gentle music for your pleasure.
