Starters
Six “Bitterballen” with Mustard.(Traditional Dutch Beef Balls)

Smoked Salmon on a bed of Julienne cut Cucumber and Lettuce - Capers – Horse Radish Cream – Served with Wholewheat Bread.

Butternut and Orange Soup served with herb Croutons and warm fresh Bread.

Tuna Salad – Fresh Lettuce – Tomatoes – Boiled Eggs – Capers – Spring Onion – Drizzled with Sesame oil dressing.

Greek Salad – fresh Lettuce – Tomatoes – Feta Cheese – Olives – Onion – Cucumber – Drizzled with with a Greek vinaigrette dressing.
Main Course
Lamb Curry served in individual small “Potjie Pots” – Basmati Rice – Naan Bread – Poppadoms – Cumber and mint Yoghurt.

Chicken and Seafood Paella made with locally harvested fish – Saffron Rice – Warm fresh Bread.

Tomato Tart made with fresh local Tomatoes and baked in a puff Pastry Case with Mozzarella & Parmesan topped with Basil and drizzled with Olive Oil.

Spit Roasted Pork with Crackling – Apple and Red Cabbage – Roasted garlic Potatoes – Local Vegetables in Season.

Gateau Narina – Inspired by the beautiful plumage of our indigenous Trogon Birds.
Cream filled strawberry red sponge cake coated with toasted Meringue and glazed with Kiwi and Blueberry jams.

Caramelised Apple, Date and Pecan filled Crepe served warm – drizzled with Citrus, Apple and Caramel Sauce. Served with a choice of Ice-cream or fresh Cream. Sprinkled with Cinnamon.

Ice Cream & Hot Chocolate Sauce.
Platter of local Cheese served with preserved fig, French Bread and a glass of Port.
Wines
Trogon House does have a comprehensive selection of wines and malts available for your convenience. Our collection includes our own boutique wine (Merlot) produced and bottled in the Stellenbosch/Helderberg region. This Merlot is a rich, plumy, full bodied wine with Vanilla undertones, ripe berries and a slight tobacco nose. Excellent. Only Available at Trogon House.
Beer
A selection of local and imported beers and ciders are available.
