The Trogon House Team

The creator of this unique venue is South African born Mynhardt Bester, a documentary film maker and African art collector, who discovered this wild and untamed piece of virgin indigenous forest in 2003 and conceptualised and built Trogon House. With the help of his professional support Team, he hopes to continue growing the establishment from strength to strength.

Bruce, Marco, Brenda, Herrie and Wonderful have been part of Trogon House and lived in the area for many years and know Trogon like the back of their hands. These awesome guys are here to assist, wherever it may be, with their impeccable manner, outstanding vocabulary, and of course their fantastic sense of humour and unwavering dedication.

They hope to pass their knowledge of the big and small aspects of the enchanting forest and area onto you, and look after your every request. (Of course their history provides some pretty interesting conversation too).

Carol Gray has years of experience in the hospitality industry, and her expertise in guest liason makes her the perfect go to person to ensure your visit to Trogon House runs smoothly. Yvonne and Mac work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the property and utilities perfect.

Trogon House & Forest Spa also partakes in a local government Hospitality Program, where each year we get new students to help train them and impart some of your knowledge and experience which facilitates them when they venture into different areas of the Tourism Industry.
